Maximum of the Orionids 2026. When and how to observe the meteors?
The Orionids meteor shower, linked to Halley's Comet, will peak on the night of October 21-22, 2026. Observers in Poland can expect to see about 10-20 meteors per hour under dark skies. The best viewing time will be around 2:20 AM, with the radiant rising at 9:30 PM. However, weather conditions may deteriorate, with increasing cloud cover and rain expected after midnight, particularly in western regions. If missed, the meteors can still be observed until early November.
