Maximum fuel prices on All Saints' Day. It will be cheaper

The Minister of Energy announced new maximum fuel prices, effective this weekend and Monday. Gasoline 95 will cost no more than 6.48 PLN per liter, while gasoline 98 will be capped at 7.32 PLN, and diesel at 8.15 PLN. Currently, prices are slightly higher. This announcement is part of the third phase of the Fuel Price Lowering Package (CPN), aimed at mitigating fuel price increases. The new regulations include penalties for exceeding price limits and allow temporary reductions in excise duty and VAT on liquid fuels. Funding will come from a new tax on oil companies with excessive profits. The support package is estimated to cost around 5 billion PLN and will be in effect until the end of the year.
