Maximum fuel prices for Tuesday. There is a new regulation

On Tuesday, maximum fuel prices will decrease, with gasoline 95 at 6.45 PLN/l, gasoline 98 at 7.31 PLN/l, and diesel at 8.14 PLN/l. These prices are part of the government's CPN program, funded by a tax on excess profits of fuel companies. The previous prices were slightly higher, and a new announcement regarding maximum prices will be made on November 3. The CPN package aims to temporarily reduce fuel taxes and is expected to last until the end of 2026, costing around 5 billion PLN. A 60% tax on excess profits from fuel sales will apply from March 2026 to March 2027 for fuel production companies and those with foreign trading licenses.
