Maximum fuel prices on Friday. Gasoline and diesel slightly cheaper

On Friday, the maximum prices for fuel will decrease slightly, with gasoline 95 at 6.51 PLN, gasoline 98 at 7.36 PLN, and diesel at 8.19 PLN. This change follows the announcement by Minister of Energy Miłosz Motyka, indicating a reduction from Thursday's prices. The new pricing is part of the Fuel Price Lowering Program (CPN), aimed at mitigating rising fuel costs for drivers. The law enabling these price caps includes a 60% tax on excess profits from fuel sales, effective from March 2026. The government plans to maintain this support package until the end of 2026, with an estimated cost of around 5 billion PLN.
