Maximum fuel prices on Wednesday. The minister announced how much we will pay

The Minister of Energy, Miłosz Motyka, announced the maximum fuel prices for Wednesday, with gasoline prices decreasing slightly while diesel prices increase. The new prices are set at 6.55 PLN for 95 octane gasoline, 7.24 PLN for 98 octane gasoline, and 8.28 PLN for diesel. This adjustment is part of the Fuel Price Lowering Program (CPN), aimed at reducing fuel costs through temporary VAT and excise tax reductions. The program is expected to last until the end of 2026 and is funded largely by a new 60% tax on excess profits from fuel sales, projected to generate around 4.1 billion PLN in revenue.
