Malá and Šťastný again did not rule out a firm vote on public media. Šebelová wants a debate

During the second reading of the public media funding law, the coalition is prepared for a fixed voting time. This was agreed upon by ANO's Taťána Malá and Minister Boris Šťastný. Prime Minister Andrej Babiš previously stated that the coalition would not limit the reading. STAN's Michaela Šebelová suggested that if the coalition were serious, they would withdraw the proposal. The coalition aims for the law to pass through parliamentary committees and hold discussions. They may resort to fixed voting if obstructed by the opposition. Critics, including Piráti's Kateřina Stojanová, warned against legislative chaos due to threats of fixed voting. The coalition proposes abolishing fees for ČT and ČRo, with funding from the state budget instead. Babiš mentioned that fees would be voluntary and not directly funded from the budget. The political discussion included expert panels moderated by Daniel Takáč.
