The Kremlin expressed hope that Serbia's new political force, the Student List, will foster positive relations with Russia. Dmitry Peskov emphasized that cooperation with Russia benefits Serbia, especially as the Student List won parliamentary elections, potentially ending Aleksandar Vucic's long-standing dominance. The Student List secured 52.9% of the votes, while Vucic's coalition received 38.8%. Vucic acknowledged the opposition's victory but stated he is accustomed to working in opposition.
