Man suspected of using custard donut to kill cousin for inheritance

A 76-year-old man in Reggio Emilia is under house arrest for allegedly using a custard-filled donut to kill his cousin, 74, to inherit his estate. He reportedly delivered pastries to the cousin, who had severe swallowing difficulties and could only eat liquids. The cousin died from suffocation in a healthcare facility on June 27.
