Demonstrations: Porto and Lisbon with filled squares at the beginning of the night

Protests in Lisbon and Porto saw significant attendance, with families and youth participating. By 19:00, around 5,000 people gathered in Rossio, Lisbon, and the D. João I square in Porto was reportedly even more crowded than the previous Saturday. Police presence was heightened, and assemblies were planned to discuss the potential re-establishment of tents, risking further police intervention. There was widespread discontent regarding police actions that resulted in injuries, with calls for solidarity towards affected youth. Criticism was directed at the government and specific officials, including the Minister of Internal Administration, for perceived political interference and inadequate responses to the protests.
