Pro-Vucic protesters storm television station in Serbia and demand the editor's arrest

Protesters stormed a Serbian TV station supporting former president Aleksandar Vucic, demanding the editor's arrest. This occurred during post-election celebrations after Vucic lost to the Student List, a movement against corruption. Footage showed around 30 individuals surrounding editor Dragan Vucicevic, who criticized the new government for threatening media freedom. Vucic condemned the incident as an attack on press freedom. The Student List's candidate, Ilija Srdanovic, urged calm and non-violence. The Independent Journalists' Association plans to request the revocation of Informer TV's broadcasting license due to legal violations. Serbia ranks 104th in the World Press Freedom Index.
