Protesters have until the 6th to decide whether to pay or go to trial
Fifty-five housing protesters detained in Lisbon have until November 6 to decide whether to pay 150 euros for a suspended process or go to trial. The decision is individual for each defendant, as stated by their lawyer, Ricardo Sá Fernandes. The protesters were released on the same day they were detained and are suspected of disobedience for resisting police actions on October 20 when tents were removed from Praça D. Pedro IV.
