Demonstration on November 5 in Paris: the CGT demands a route through the city center, from Bastille to Concorde

Unions are calling on private sector workers, civil servants, youth, and retirees to demonstrate for wages and purchasing power. They have proposed a traditional route from Place de la Bastille to Place de la Concorde, but the police have restricted previous demonstrations to alternative routes due to recent riots. Binet criticized the restrictions, stating that protests should not be hidden and highlighted that over 200 other demonstrations will occur outside Paris.
