Manipulation review – preposterous Da Vinci Code-esque thriller like being trapped in a Ferrero Rocher ad

Manipulation is a convoluted thriller set in Prague, featuring a secret society led by the Master. Young novice Matteo is tasked with infiltrating the Catholic Church but faces a moral dilemma after witnessing his father's threats. The plot intertwines espionage and conspiracy, with Matteo encountering a professor who reveals the dark history of such cabals. Despite its intriguing premise, the film suffers from poor dialogue and overstuffed characters, ultimately feeling like a chaotic mix of clichés. While visually appealing, it fails to deliver a coherent narrative, leaving viewers confused.
