Manovra: tornano i carabinieri ausiliari, 600 nel 2027 e 1000 l'anno dal 2028

The introduction of voluntary reserve carabinieri allows for the recruitment of up to 600 young individuals in 2027 and 1,000 annually from 2028. Candidates must be under 26, have at least a middle school diploma, and meet physical and psychological requirements. The initial service lasts one year, with a possible extension of two years. Successful candidates will undergo a three-month training course. The new personnel will engage in operational and training activities, primarily regionally, with roles in public safety and judicial police. A preferential access channel to the Carabinieri for auxiliaries is also established. Funding for recruitment is set at 41.78 million euros in 2027, increasing to 141.44 million annually from 2031.
