Military police calls migrant boat off Zeeland coast a unique incident

On Saturday, the Marechaussee responded to a report of a rubber boat with 38 people adrift off the Zeeland coast. The boat was towed to Cadzand harbor for medical checks. Most occupants are Afghan nationals, with six minors among them. They will be processed for asylum in the Netherlands, while two Sudanese individuals were arrested on suspicion of human smuggling.
