Marine Le Pen thunders after the events in Poland. "Forceful takeover of control"
French politician Marine Le Pen expressed deep concern over the situation surrounding Poland's Constitutional Tribunal, criticizing the suspension of its president and security interventions. She emphasized that restoring the rule of law cannot disregard the principles it is based on. Le Pen also criticized the European Union for its silence regarding threats to constitutional balance in member states. The crisis escalated when the Tribunal announced a break in activities, leading to urgent consultations by President Karol Nawrocki. Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated that restoring the rule of law is a duty and ruled out compromise on the Tribunal's situation, while Justice Minister Waldemar Żurek predicted a return to normal operations soon.
