Morocco repatriates 327 minors from Ceuta since August
A total of 327 unaccompanied Moroccan minors were repatriated from Ceuta between August 2 and the following Monday, following a significant influx of migrants in July. This process, aimed at prioritizing the minors' best interests and family reunification, is ongoing and occurs daily through the land border between Fnideq and Ceuta. King Mohamed VI highlighted the need for updated migration cooperation strategies, criticizing existing legal obstacles that hinder repatriation efforts. He emphasized that outdated legal provisions and judicial decisions complicate the situation, allowing criminal networks to thrive. Over 70,000 individuals entered Ceuta illegally at the end of July.
