Mechelen police catch drunk car thief: "He was driving erratically without lights"

This weekend, Mechelen police arrested a drunk man driving a stolen car. The driver was swerving and had no lights, attracting police attention. He was too intoxicated to take an alcohol test and claimed to have consumed whisky, gin, and vodka. An officer called for a doctor to conduct a blood test. Additionally, the driver had no identification and the car was reported stolen. He was arrested and the vehicle's owner was notified to retrieve it.
