Half a dozen flights receive bomb threats in Europe and force the activation of security devices
Several European flights faced bomb threats, prompting security measures at various airports. A LOT Airlines flight from London to Warsaw was diverted to Modlin after a bomb threat was reported. The aircraft landed safely, and passengers were evacuated while authorities conducted inspections. Another SAS flight from Copenhagen to Warsaw also received a threat but landed normally. A Ryanair flight from Manchester to Murcia also reported a bomb threat, but no explosives were found after inspection. Additionally, a flight from Israel made an emergency landing in Sofia due to a bomb threat. In Rome, false alarms were reported for two Ryanair flights from Lisbon and Dublin, but no explosives were discovered after thorough checks.
