Media: Zbigniew Ziobro's party has been removed from the register
In October 2024, Sovereign Poland and Law and Justice announced their merger. The Warsaw District Court decided to remove Solidarna Polska and its successor from the political party registry on October 9, 2024, although this decision is not final. Following the merger, both parties submitted financial reports that were consistently rejected by the National Electoral Commission. This year, they did not submit any reports, allegedly on purpose, as membership fees were no longer collected after the merger. Solidarna Polska was established in 2012 after Zbigniew Ziobro's exclusion from PiS, and it rebranded to Sovereign Poland before the 2023 parliamentary elections, partly due to financial issues identified by the electoral commission.
