Media: the prime minister will sign the president's request regarding the NBP

According to Radio Eska, Finance Minister Andrzej Domański informed NBP President Adam Glapiński about the Prime Minister's planned actions regarding the appointment of new NBP board members. The confirmation of these appointments is still pending, with a deadline approaching on Wednesday. The current NBP board consists of six members, and the term of Vice President Adam Lipiński ends on November 4. If not filled, the board will fall below the legal requirement. Appointments are made by the President upon the NBP President's recommendation, requiring the Prime Minister's countersignature. The current board includes members with varying term end dates, with Lipiński's term expiring soon.
