Gauguin's famous painting has arrived at the Museum of Fine Arts

The Szépművészeti Múzeum has received the painting "Portrait of a Young Girl" by Gauguin for its upcoming exhibition. This artwork, on loan from Museum Ordrupgaard, will be part of the exhibition celebrating the museum's 120th anniversary. The exhibition, titled "Bonjour Monsieur Gauguin," features nearly 150 artworks, including 80 by Gauguin, and is the largest of its kind in Eastern Central Europe. The most valuable piece is worth over 50 billion HUF. The curator noted that many works come from the museum's own collection, and the exhibition will also showcase works by contemporaries like Monet and Van Gogh until the end of February next year.
