The government decree has been published, perhaps something will finally happen with the Museum of Applied Arts.
The Hungarian government has approved the comprehensive renovation of the Museum of Applied Arts, including the reconstruction of its main building and the construction of a new wing. The Minister of Transport and Investment has been appointed as the responsible official, and a project management company has been established for this purpose. A budget of 150 million HUF has been allocated for the project, with a deadline for preparation set for February 28, 2027. Additionally, previous government resolutions regarding the museum's development have been revoked due to non-implementation. The government also decided against relocating the Hungarian Agricultural Museum to Gödöllő, emphasizing the importance of preserving its original spirit.
