A surprising result was brought by a study examining the effects of short workouts

A recent study indicates that short bouts of exercise throughout the day can be as effective as longer sessions. Conducted with 45 male students aged 18 to 25, the eight-week squat program compared two training methods: three one-minute resistance workouts versus one continuous session of 60 squats. Results showed no significant differences in muscle endurance or strength, but participants who exercised in shorter segments reported higher enjoyment and were more likely to continue exercising. This suggests that fragmented workouts may be a viable option for those with limited time.
