The National Sports Radio will cease to exist

The National Sports Radio will cease operations on November 1 due to unsustainable financial conditions, as announced by the National Media and Infocommunications Authority. The operating entity, MRTV Nonprofit Zrt., requested the removal of the service from the public radio list, which was approved by the media council. The radio, launched on June 14, 2024, covered various sports events, including parasports and youth competitions. Additionally, other radio changes were reported, including the rebranding of Manna FM to Sunrise FM and structural changes in the Radio 1 network.
