Microsoft, maxi piano di incentivi all’esodo: coinvolte fino a 60 mila persone

Microsoft is implementing a voluntary early retirement plan for around 60,000 employees in various countries as it invests heavily in AI and data centers. This initiative aims to support employees considering leaving the company, offering benefits similar to standard severance packages. Certain roles, particularly in data centers, sales, and marketing, will be excluded from this program. The company is facing financial pressure while increasing investments in AI-related services for clients like Anthropic and OpenAI. Previously, Microsoft had announced a voluntary retirement program for about 7% of its U.S. workforce.
