Renault has unveiled the production version of the 5 Turbo 3E, an electric hot hatch inspired by the classic Turbo model. It features a powerful dual-motor setup delivering 544 HP, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in three seconds. Weighing only 1450 kg, it utilizes carbon fiber to offset the larger battery, which offers a range of 400 km. The car will be available for order soon, with deliveries starting in 2027, limited to 1980 units to commemorate the original model's debut. This strategy aims to enhance Renault's brand image in a competitive market, leveraging nostalgia while appealing to modern consumers.
