The residents of Ołeszek have begun evacuation. A plane will take them to Belarus.

Residents of the occupied city of Oleshky in southern Ukraine are evacuating to Russia's Anapa, from where they will fly to Belarus and then return home. The Ukrainian delegation, led by human rights commissioner Dmytro Lubinets, is coordinating the evacuation with support from Melania Trump. Humanitarian aid has been delivered to Oleshky, where 25 buses and ambulances are prepared for the evacuation. The situation for civilians in Oleshky is dire, with around 2,000 people lacking access to food and water. A ceasefire was agreed upon to facilitate humanitarian efforts and the evacuation, starting on October 27 and lasting until November 1.
