Migliorano gli indicatori di benessere ma il rischio di povertà è sopra la media Ue
Italy shows improvements in various areas of well-being, such as health and environment, but still faces high poverty risk. The Istat report indicates that 54 out of 132 indicators improved, while 23 worsened. Despite strengths in health and safety, Italy struggles with education, employment, and innovation. By 2025, over 5.4 million people are projected to live in absolute poverty, particularly affecting large families and those with children. The absolute poverty rate is 8% among families, with higher rates in the South compared to the North and Central regions. Italy's poverty risk remains above the EU average by 2.3 percentage points.
