Milan Šteindler started filming the comedy Až na ten konec dobrý in Brno

Milan Šteindler returns to directing after nearly 20 years with the comedy "Až na ten konec dobrý," based on Pavel Tomeš's book. The film, featuring actors like Petr Čtvrtníček and Vanda Chaloupková, explores themes of death and life. Filming began in Brno and will include significant locations such as the Brno Observatory. The story revolves around a young journalist, her cynical grandfather, and his orphaned granddaughter. Šteindler, approaching 70, feels a personal connection to the theme of death, which he finds compelling for storytelling. The film is set for release between 2027 and 2028.
