The Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy reports that as of November 1, 2026, the average price of self-service fuels in Italy is 2.010 euros per liter for gasoline and 2.241 euros for diesel. On the highway network, the average self-service price is 2.036 euros for gasoline and 2.287 euros for diesel. Approximately 82% of all service stations offer gasoline below 2 euros, while about 42% have diesel priced under 2.20 euros.
