A precipitation zone is approaching Hungary, with expected rainfall of 20-40 millimeters in some areas, though distribution will be uneven. Wednesday will start sunny, especially east of the Danube, but clouds will thicken from the southwest in the afternoon, leading to rain and showers, with possible embedded thunderstorms. By Wednesday evening and night, precipitation will cover a larger area. On Thursday, rain and showers are expected across much of the country, particularly in the eastern regions, with several millimeters of rain, and localized amounts of 20-40 millimeters possible in the west and northeast. Details for Friday will be discussed later.
