The Minister of Health reacts to the Polsat News report. "He confirmed me"

The Polish Health Minister, Jolanta Sobierańska-Grenda, expressed support for a new law on salary transparency for doctors, prompted by a report revealing their earnings. She noted that only 19 out of 590 hospitals responded to inquiries about doctors' salaries. The new law, effective July 1, mandates hospitals to report salaries, aiming to enhance transparency in public spending. Sobierańska-Grenda emphasized the need for public access to information regarding medical contracts and proposed a cap on salaries, suggesting that 65% of hospital funds should be allocated to wages. She remains committed to reforms for a more transparent healthcare system.
