The 55 detainees from the protests are scheduled to appear before the Public Prosecutor on October 27 to determine their legal situation. The PSP detained these individuals for allegedly resisting the removal of tents during a protest. The General Inspectorate of Internal Administration has also opened an inquiry into the police actions. Protests for housing rights continue in both Porto and Lisbon, with new demonstrations planned for Saturday.
