The ministry unjustly dismissed the museum director. After the verdict, he will not be reinstated.

The Supreme Administrative Court upheld a previous ruling regarding the dismissal of Robert Kostro as director of the Polish History Museum. Despite the court's decision, Kostro will not be reinstated. The Ministry of Culture acknowledged the ruling but stated it does not provide grounds for his return. Kostro expressed concerns about the ministry's disregard for court decisions and highlighted issues with the contractual framework for cultural institution directors. He was dismissed in September 2024 after 18 years in the role, with allegations of mismanagement of public funds. The museum is preparing to open a permanent exhibition next year.
