Minister of Economy visits Venezuela to strengthen political and business relations

The Portuguese Minister of Economy, Castro Almeida, is on a three-day official visit to Venezuela to strengthen political and economic ties. Accompanied by key officials, he will meet Venezuelan authorities and the local Portuguese community. The delegation includes around 30 Portuguese companies from various sectors. A highlight will be the Portugal-Venezuela Business Forum aimed at fostering business opportunities and partnerships. The reopening of AICEP's representation in Caracas will also be announced, emphasizing the historical ties and the role of the Portuguese community in enhancing economic relations. The visit aims to create new opportunities for Portuguese businesses in Venezuela.
