In comparison to the same period last year, the number of accidents decreased by 80, or 31.1%. Fatalities also dropped by 14, a reduction of 60.9%. Injured individuals fell by 108, representing a 34.6% decrease. Nearly 23,000 traffic officers participated in the operations, focusing on speed control using laser devices and unmarked vehicles with video recorders. A total of 1,212 drivers were caught driving under the influence of alcohol, which is an increase of 190 cases, or 18.6%, compared to last year. There were also 291 instances of speeding over 50 km/h, which is 30 fewer than the previous year.
