Social mobilizations: the government plans aid of "up to 10,000 euros" for damaged businesses
During a press conference in Paris, Commerce Minister Serge Papin announced that businesses affected by recent riots could receive direct aid of up to €10,000. Eligible companies must have an annual turnover of less than €10 million and fewer than 50 employees. Approximately 3,000 businesses have been impacted, with over 2,500 reported damages during protests. Additionally, Bpifrance has introduced a zero-interest loan for affected merchants, allowing them to borrow between €5,000 and €50,000. This loan is aimed at helping businesses recover and restock after the disturbances.
