Mozambique with first training center for circus arts and free classes

Mozambique's first circus arts training center will offer free classes starting February 2027 in Maputo, focusing on various circus disciplines. The Center for Circus Arts of Maputo (CACMA), founded by Dimas Tivane, is currently 60% complete and aims to train new artists and accommodate those already practicing. The center will provide courses in juggling, acrobatics, clowning, and more, with a focus on inclusivity for people with disabilities. Tivane, who has 15 years of circus experience, seeks financial support to finalize the center's construction and enhance facilities. The project also includes community outreach through workshops and a festival featuring international artists, despite facing administrative challenges.
