The murderer escaped over the prison fence. Authorities publish recordings and photos
Authorities in Tennessee are conducting a large-scale manhunt for Jacob Allen Morley, a convicted murderer who escaped from prison. Morley was reported missing from the Northwest Correctional Complex and was seen on surveillance footage breaching the facility's perimeter in prison attire. After escaping, he allegedly stole a Ford F-350 truck from a nearby farm. Although the vehicle has been recovered, Morley's whereabouts remain unknown. A warrant has been issued for his arrest, and he has been placed on the state's most wanted list, with a reward of $2,500 offered for information leading to his capture. Morley was sentenced to life imprisonment in 2025 for the murder of his coworker, Cody Birchfield.
