Consumer protection tested detergents, and found one that is 94 percent kitchen salt

The National Consumer Protection Authority (NKFH) tested liquid detergents and powders, finding deficiencies in nearly half of the products. Issues included inaccuracies in dosage instructions and discrepancies between label claims and actual measurements. Some products had high salt content, with one detergent showing 94% salt while active ingredients were below 1%. Although EU regulations do not set limits on salt content, the claims of effectiveness were questioned, leading to regulatory actions. The NKFH emphasized that higher prices do not guarantee better quality and encouraged consumers to compare product compositions and test results for informed decisions.
