80-year-old woman dies in collision in Vila Viçosa

An 80-year-old woman died in a collision between a truck and a car near Vila Viçosa, Évora. The car's driver, an 84-year-old man, was seriously injured and airlifted to Évora hospital. The truck driver was treated at the scene. The accident occurred at a national road intersection and temporarily closed the EN 255 for helicopter landing. Emergency services included 23 personnel and nine vehicles.
