Uniformed services withdraw from protest. The Ministry promises raises and privileges
After weeks of tensions and planned protests, police union representatives have decided to cancel their action following discussions with the Minister of Interior and Administration, Marcin Kierwiński. He assured that the officers' demands would be met, including a proposed salary increase project to be presented in early December. Union leader Rafał Jankowski expressed trust in the minister's commitments. Additionally, a new law regarding the Family Card for uniformed services is expected to be adopted next week, focusing on healthcare access for professional officers and their families, excluding volunteer firefighters.
