Musk reportedly invested a billion dollars in the media group Skydance
Elon Musk has invested approximately $1 billion into the newly formed media group Skydance, which resulted from the merger of Paramount Skydance and Warner Bros. Discovery. This investment is seen as a crucial financial boost for Skydance, which is currently working to reduce costs and enhance its stock value. Musk has previously praised Skydance, leading to speculation about potential collaborations with his satellite network, Starlink. The merger was completed earlier this month, with David Ellison as the head of the combined group. Ellison has close ties to Musk, having participated in Musk's acquisition of Twitter, now known as X. Skydance includes major studios and streaming services like Paramount Pictures and HBO Max.
