Mural of 250 square meters brings Haspengouw identity to Truien station tunnel
The Sint-Truiden station tunnel is being transformed with a large mural by the Leuven art collective Treepack, highlighting the identity of Haspengouw. The project, which started last week, aims to turn the entire tunnel into a work of art, featuring themes related to the city and the region, such as flowers, bees, and local fruits. The mural also includes references to local architecture and tourism, with designs that evoke a spring or summer atmosphere. This initiative is part of a broader effort by NMBS to enhance station environments artistically and sustainably, making them more pleasant for travelers.
