After 20 years of legal wrangling: initial preparatory work for the new stadium of Club Brugge has started
Preparatory works for Club Brugge's new stadium have begun, including archaeological and ground stability assessments. The stadium construction is scheduled to start early next year, with the first stone laid in 2027. The site will not affect upcoming home matches for Cercle Brugge and Club Brugge, as parking remains available. Club Brugge is awaiting a lease agreement with the city of Bruges, which owns the land for the stadium.
