On wage fraud in provincial education: director of APP school Munsterbilzen dismissed, general director loses position

The Limburg provincial government has sanctioned two school directors following a fraud investigation by Audit Vlaanderen. The director of APP school in Munsterbilzen was dismissed, while the general director of the provincial education community lost his position. The investigation revealed that salaries were paid for non-existent work and that provincial education funds were misused. The case escalated to the Education Minister and led to a judicial inquiry. Both directors can appeal the decisions, and the judicial investigation is nearing its conclusion.
