A ship sank in the Black Sea after a drone strike, one person is dead
A serious incident occurred in the Black Sea involving the ship Khoryv, which sank after being hit by a drone. One sailor died and three are missing. Romanian President Nicusor Dan condemned the attack as a consequence of Russian aggression against Ukraine and called for peace initiatives. The ship had 13 crew members, including 10 Ukrainians and 3 Azerbaijanis. A large-scale search and rescue operation is underway, but adverse weather conditions hinder aerial support. Since early October, 11 commercial vessels have been damaged in the Black Sea due to drone attacks, with seven incidents near Romania's coast.
