Over a thousand cases are awaiting consideration in the Tribunal. "Mr. Święczkowski is not overworking himself"

The Constitutional Tribunal faces over 1,000 pending cases, leading to criticism of President Bogdan Święczkowski's work. Justice Minister Waldemar Żurek accused Święczkowski of not being diligent, citing his late arrivals and early departures from work. He emphasized the backlog of cases that remain unresolved. Judge Anna Korwin-Piotrowska, who recently took over the Tribunal's leadership, reported that 1,171 cases are pending, with over 700 not yet processed. Nearly 350 constitutional complaints from citizens are among the unresolved cases.
