"In case of the worst". The British government appeals to citizens

The UK government has released a list of essential items for households to prepare for emergencies, including water, food, hygiene products, and power banks. The campaign "Be Prepared" encourages citizens to assess their readiness for crises. Defense Minister Wes Streeting emphasized the need for preparedness against extreme weather and advanced cyberattacks. He urged the public to consider scenarios like supply disruptions and payment system failures. Citizens are also advised to secure cash, document copies, sleeping bags, diapers, and pet food. Similar recommendations have been made by governments in France, the Netherlands, and Ireland.
